Presentation includes an examination of the Twelve Core
Functions and eight TAP 21 competencies of an effective
substance abuse counselor, how they relate to each other,
practical applications of these core functions and competencies,
and how they are utilized in determining competency through the
certification / licensing process for substance abuse

view the video, or to print the Exam Questions.
The course is available in QuickTime video format, viewable
by both PCs and Mac computers.

If you would like to earn
3 CE hours credit:
- Watch the video.
- Answer the Exam Questions using the On-line Answer Sheet, and
pay on-line; or
- Answer the Exam Questions on the Answer Sheet included with
the Exam, and mail or fax the Answer Sheet to Breining Institute
Recommendation for passing the Exam:
Review the Exam Questions before viewing the video. The order
of the Exam Questions generally follow along in the same order
as the video.
